Jennings arraigned in connection with a Pittsfield shooting

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  23 year old VICTOR C. JENNINGS (229 Linden Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

JENNINGS had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two (2) counts of ARMED ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO MURDER, two (2) counts of AGGRAVATED ASSAULT AND BATTERY BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN and one (1) count of DISCHARGING A FIREARM WITHIN 500 FEET OF A BUILDING.  Judge Ford released JENNINGS on $10,000 cash or $100,000 surety bail on the condition he have no contact with the alleged victims and witnesses in the case. 

It is alleged that JENNINGS shot 14 and 17 year old youths in Pittsfield on June 16, 2013.     

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
