Jones pleads guilty to a sexual assault charge

A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to a sexual assault charge.  52 year old LARRY JONES appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

JONES pleaded guilty to one (1) count of INDECENT ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A PERSON WHO HAS ATTAINED 14.  Judge Agostini ordered that he serve 418 days in the Berkshire County House of Correction.    

JONES sexually assaulted a 40 year old woman in Pittsfield on December 31, 2011. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
