Lewis pleads guilty to drug charges in Superior Court
A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges. 36 year old TIMOTHY M. LEWIS a/k/a QUAN and Q appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.
LEWIS pleaded guilty to two (2) counts of DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, three (3) counts of DRUG VIOLATION WITHIN A DRUG FREE SCHOOL ZONE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS. Judge Ford ordered that he serve concurrent 2 to 3 year state prison sentences at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction on the drug and conspiracy charges. LEWIS was given 2 and a half to 3 year state prison sentences, to be served on and after the first sentence, on the charges of DRUG VIOLATION WITHIN A DRUG FREE SCHOOL ZONE.
The incidents occurred in Pittsfield between November 17, 2011 and June 15, 2012.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
(Note: LEWIS will serve 4 and a half to 6 years in state prison.)
