Mable arraigned on armed robbery and other charges

A New York City man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  35 year old JEFFREY D. MABLE appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

MABLE had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of ARMED ROBBERY WHILE MASKED, one (1) count of ARMED ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO ROB, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY WEAPON, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY FEEDING DEVICE, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LOADED FIREARM, one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON, one (1) count of RESISTING ARREST, one (1) count of WILLFUL INJURY OF A POLICE DOG, one (1) count of BREAKING AND ENTERING IN THE NIGHTTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY and one (1) count of LARCENY UNDER $250.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $200,000 cash or surety bail. 

The incident is alleged to have occurred in Pittsfield on January 25, 2013 and involved a 30 year old woman and a 35 year old man. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
