Peterson enters not guilty pleas in Superior Court

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  41 year old CHRISTOPHER S. PETERSON a/k/a TAD POLE, SCOTT CHRISTOPHER, SCOTT PETERSON, TOLSEAN, SEAN TOL and SEAN C. TOLF (266 Francis Avenue) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

PETERSON had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of AGGRAVATED RAPE and one (1) count of BREAKING AND ENTERING IN THE NIGHTTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY.  Judge Ford ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $100,000 bail and ordered PETERSON to have no contact with the alleged victim.

It is alleged that PETERSON sexually assaulted a 26 year old woman in Pittsfield after breaking into her home on November 14, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
