Poole is arraigned on pornography charges

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  51 year old JOHN POOLE (17 Brown Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

POOLE had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on five (5) counts of KNOWINGLY POSSESSING VISUAL MATERIAL OF A CHILD DEPICTED IN SEXUAL CONDUCT.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $25,000 cash or $250,000 surety bail.        

It is alleged that POOLE possessed child pornography in Pittsfield on December 19, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by state troopers assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
