Signor pleads guilty, placed on probation

A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to conspiracy charges.  26 year old STEVEN S. SIGNOR JR. appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

SIGNOR pleaded guilty to one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE/ECSTACY WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Ford placed him on 1 year probation.    

SIGNOR conspired with others to possess with intent to distribute drugs in Pittsfield on February 23, 2011.

One (1) count of POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of DRUG VIOLATION WITHIN A DRUG FREE SCHOOL ZONE were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, North Adams, Williamstown and Great Barrington Police Departments and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
