Sweener pleads guilty to a conspiracy charge
A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to a conspiracy charge. 22 year old JACOB L. SWEENER appeared before Judge John Agostini.
SWEENER pleaded guilty to one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF COCAINE. Judge Agostini continued his case without a finding for 6 months.
SWEENER conspired with others to possess cocaine in Pittsfield on March 4, 2012.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, Lenox, Lanesborough, Adams, Great Barrington and Lee Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
