Thompson pleads guilty, case continued for one year

A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court.  33 year old ANTHONY THOMPSON appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

THOMPSON pleaded guilty to one (1) count of PARTICIPATING IN BETTING.  Judge Ford continued his case without a finding for 1 year and ordered that THOMPSON refrain from using illegal drugs and alcohol during that time frame.    

THOMPSON admitted using illegal poker machines in Pittsfield on April 27, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, Lenox, Lanesborough, Adams, Great Barrington and Lee Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
