Wood pleads guilty, sent to state prison
A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court in connection with a bank robbery in Pittsfield. 32 year old BRANDON C. WOOD appeared before Judge John Agostini.
WOOD pleaded guilty to one (1) count of UNARMED ROBBERY in connection with the theft of money from the Elm Street branch of Greylock Federal Credit Union on March 30, 2012.
Judge Agostini ordered that WOOD serve a 3 and a half to 5 year state prison sentence at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department with assistance from the Boston Office of the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force.
