Wright pleads guilty, placed on probation

A Cheshire woman pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges.  34 year old KAJA L. WRIGHT appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

WRIGHT pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Ford placed her on 1 year probation.

The charge stems from the execution of a search warrant at 169 Pecks Road, in Pittsfield, on December 14, 2011.

One (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
