Yannone is arraigned in Superior Court on larceny charges
A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges. 31 year old MARK J. YANNONE (4 Onota Lane) appeared before Judge John Agostini.
YANNONE had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on thirteen (13) counts of LARCENY BY FALSE PRETENSE, one (1) count of LARCENY OVER $250 FROM A PERSON 60 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER and one (1) count of FILING A FRAUDULENT INSURANCE CLAIM. Judge Agostini released him on personal recognizance.
It is alleged that YANNONE while doing business as M. Joseph Jewelers took jewelry and U.S. currency from customers. The incidents are alleged to have occurred between March 20, 2011 and August 13, 2013.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
