Young is arraigned on drug and firearm charges

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug and firearm charges.  41 year old HARRY S. YOUNG III a/k/a ANTHONY STONE and ACE (213 Linden Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

YOUNG had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense), two (2) counts of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY, two (2) counts of ILLEGAL OWNERSHIP OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, two (2) counts of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD and two (2) counts of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A FIREARM.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 cash or $50,000 surety bail.

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his home on June 20, 2013.    

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
