Body of missing North Adams man found

The body of a missing North Adams man has been discovered in Bronx, New York.

Berkshire District Attorney David F. Capeless says 25 year old JOSHUA S. BRESSETTE was last seen by friends, in North Adams, on May 5th.  On May 7th the North Adams Police Department entered BRESSETTE into a law enforcement missing persons data base.

According to Capeless, members of the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force were contacted Wednesday by New York Police Department Homicide Detectives.  The New York City investigators indicated they found the body of an unidentified male matching BRESSETTE’S description in the Bronx.  The male was positively identified today as BRESSETTE.

CAPELESS says law enforcement authorities are treating BRESSETTE’S death as a homicide and members of the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force are assisting New York Police Department Detectives with the investigation.
