DiCenzo sent to state prison after pleading guilty

A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to several charges.  37 year old MICHAEL J. DICENZO, JR. appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

DICENZO pleaded guilty to one (1) count of LARCENY FROM A BUILDING, one (1) count of INTIMIDATION OF A WITNESS OR OTHER PERSON, one (1) count of LARCENY OVER $250 and one (1) count of VIOLATION OF AN ABUSE PREVENTION ORDER.  Judge Agostini ordered that he serve concurrent 2 to 3 year state prison sentences at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction on the charges of LARCENY FROM A BUILDING, INTIMIDATION OF A WITNESS OR OTHER PERSON and LARCENY OVER $250.  DICENZO was given a concurrent 2 year house of correction sentence on the other charge.    

The charges stem from incidents in Pittsfield that occurred between March 22, 2013 and July 15, 2013.      

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
