Dufur pleads guilty, sent to state prison

A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to numerous charges.  26 year old SHAUN M. DUFUR appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

DUFUR pleaded guilty to four (4) counts of BREAKING AND ENTERING IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY, four (4) counts of LARCENY OF A FIREARM, four (4) counts of LARCENY IN A BUILDING, one (1) count of RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $250 and two (2) counts of RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER $250.  Judge Agostini ordered that he serve concurrent 2 to 4 year state prison sentences at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction. 

DUFUR broke into homes in Lanesborough and Pittsfield between August 31, 2013 and October 11, 2013. 

The investigations were conducted by members of the Lanesborough and Pittsfield Police Departments.
