Jenkins held on bail on armed robbery and other charges

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  32 year old TYRONE JENKINS a/k/a ANTHONY BROWN (23 Parker Street) appeared before Judge Mary Lou Rup. 

JENKINS had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of HOME INVASION, one (1) count of ARMED ROBBERY, three (3) counts of ASSAULT BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF PHENCYCLIDINE.  Judge Rup ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $100,000 bail on the condition he have no contact with the alleged victims.   

JENKINS is alleged to have committed the home invasion, armed robbery and assaults in Pittsfield on April 21, 2009.  The drug charge stems from his arrest on April 24, 2014.   

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
