Johnson arraigned on trafficking and other drug charges
A Bronx, New York man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges. 27 year old CHRISTOPHER JOHNSON a/k/a CHRISTOPHER GAYNOR appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.
JOHNSON had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS and one (1) count of FURNISHING A FALSE NAME TO A POLICE OFFICER. Judge Ford ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $50,000 cash or $500,000 surety bail.
The incidents allegedly occurred in North Adams between January 1, 2013 and November 26, 2013.
The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams Police Department and state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s office.
