Luczynski pleads guilty, sent to jail

A Pittsfield woman pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges.  58 year old JUDITH E. LUCZYNSKI (35 Appleton Avenue)  appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

LUCZYNSKI pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of DRUG VIOLATION WITHIN A DRUG FREE SCHOOL ZONE.  Judge Agostini ordered that she serve a 1 day sentence at the Berkshire County House of Correction on the charge of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  LUCZYNSKI was given a 2 year house of correction sentence, to be served on and after the first sentence, on the SCHOOL ZONE VIOLATION.    

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at her home on February 27, 2014. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department, Berkshire County Sheriff’s Deputies and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
