McNeil enters not guilty pleas in Superior Court

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  34 year old NICHOLAS T. MCNEIL appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

MCNEIL had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on four (4) counts of BREAKING AND ENTERING A MOTOR VEHICLE IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY, two (2) counts of UNARMED ROBBERY ON A VICTIM 60 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, one (1) count of LARCENY FROM A BUILDING, one (1) count of RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $250 and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF PERCOCET.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 cash bail. 

The charges stem from a series of breaks in Pittsfield between November 15, 2013 and December 20, 2013.     

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
