Moody pleads guilty to drug charges in Superior Court

A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges.  24 year old CORY A. MOODY a/k/a NORM, LITTLE NORM and NORMAN appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

MOODY pleaded guilty to two (2) counts of DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE and two (2) counts of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE.   Judge Agostini ordered that he serve concurrent 4 and a half to 5 year state prison sentences at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction.    

The incidents occurred in Pittsfield between October 13, 2010 and October 21, 2010. 

One (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
