Robertson arraigned on firearm charges
A Schenectady, New York man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on firearm charges. 32 year old ANTHONY ROBERTSON a/k/a DOLLAR (901 Michigan Avenue) appeared before Judge Mary Lou Rup.
ROBERTSON had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LOADED FIREARM, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN WITH A PRIOR CONVICTION FOR A VIOLENT CRIME OR SERIOUS DRUG OFFENSE, one (1) count of RESISTING ARREST and one (1) count of RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $250. Judge Rup ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction without the right to bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
The charges stem from an incident in Pittsfield on May 3, 2014.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
