Trudeau sent to state prison on numerous charges

A North Adams man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court.  37 year old BRUCE LEE TRUDEAU appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

TRUDEAU pleaded guilty to two (2) counts of BREAKING AND ENTERING IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY, three (3) counts of BREAKING AND ENTERING A MOTOR VEHICLE IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY, three (3) counts of BREAKING AND ENTERING IN THE NIGHTTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY, four (4) counts of LARCENY UNDER $250, one (1) count of LARCENY OF DRUGS, one (1) count of LARCENY UNDER $250 FROM A PERSON 60 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER and one (1) count of MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY OVER $250.  Judge Agostini ordered that he serve concurrent 2 to 3 year state prison sentences at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction on the charges of BREAKING AND ENTERING, LARCENY OF A DRUG and MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY OVER $250.  TRUDEAU was given concurrent house of correction sentences on the other charges. 

The incidents occurred in Williamstown, North Adams and Pittsfield between June 14, 2013 and September 19, 2013. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Williamstown, North Adams and Pittsfield Police Departments.
