Evacuation Procedures

Fire Drills

Once a year, the Property Manager will hold an unannounced Fire Evacuation Exercise for all agencies of the Building. Each tenant agency
is responsible for designating an emergency coordinator(s) whose responsibility is to ensure that everyone within the office and public
areas have been evacuated. Do not forget to check the restrooms (both public and private) on each floor. Once the building is evacuated,
he/she will secure the office and also evacuate the building. The building will be closed to the public during any exercise or actual event.
When an alarm is given, any one who cannot utilize the stairs should be directed to the front or East door of the building if they are on the first
floor . Handicapped persons in the lower level who cannot utilize the stairs should gather in the corridor, outside the passenger elevator and
wait for direction and assistance. The office emergency coordinator should be aware of any handicapped employees and notify the first fire
team respondent of the location of these handicapped employees needing assistance.

Stairwell Locations

Employees should be should be familiar with the location of each stairwell. In the event evacuation is necessary, employees located on the
lower level should enter the stairwells at each end of the main corridor and proceed up the stairwell to the street level. Once reaching the street
you will be directed away from the building to avoid injury from ejected window glass that might occur during a fire.
DO NOT USE THE ELEVATOR.

The elevator is deactivated upon a general fire alarm.

Fire Extinguisher

A fire extinguisher can be mounted in your office and training will be provided by building maintenance if needed. Tenants who have fire
extinguishers inside their space are required to train their employees per OSHA if fire extinguishers are accessible to them. Any tenant who
would like to train an employee who is an emergency coordinator on fire extinguisher procedures should notify facility maintenance to make
these arrangements.

Bomb Threat Procedure

If a bomb threat is received by telephone, document immediately any conversation heard. If the threat is by mail or other means, protect the
evidence for use by the police. Try to limit the number of people who touch the envelope or document for fingerprinting purposes.

Once notified of a potential bomb in the building, please try to record anything, which may be of help with the investigation immediately after
contacting authorities and Property Management. Emergency coordinators are responsible to conduct a search of your office for the device.
You should look for something that does not belong to the office or your employees. If an object is found and no one knows where the object
came from do not touch it! Always search with your hands in your pockets. The search should start by listening in the center of the room.
If no ticking can be detected, then begin to search from the outer part of your office and work inward in the following manner;

1. The first search should consist of the area from the floor up to the hip.

2. The second search should consist of the area from the hip to the head.

3. The third search should consist of the area from the head to the ceiling.

4. The ceiling tiles will be searched by maintenance if necessary.

The person receiving the call should attempt to keep the caller on the phone. Ask questions that might aid in the identity of the location of the
alleged device. Be aware of background noises, accent or other clues, which may help fire/police officials in their search and apprehension
of the bomber. Please ask appropriate questions if the caller is on the line. Often they will only state there is a bomb in your building and then
hang up. Contact authorities immediately with any information you were able to discern from the caller.

If a suspicious device or package is located, the building may be evacuated as a general rule. Employees should proceed to an area away
from the building as designated by your safety coordinator. It is vital you remain calm during this situation with your employees and visitors
and lead them safely from the building. Once the authorities have conducted their search and declared the building safe to enter, you may
return to the building.
