Roof PM Maintenance
To assist facility managers in maintaining their roof systems, OFM has developed a CAMIS-based maintenance plan that includes semi-annual inspections and preventive maintenance activities. After a building’s roof data is entered into CAMIS, when a roof project is generated in that building the program triggers a window containing active warranty information. The following information for each roof is available in CAMIS:
- Building
- Roof Type
- Manufacturer
- Year Installed
- Age of Roof
- Roof Condition/ Status
- Overall Rating
- Additional Notes
CAMIS has been modified to include this information in every building roof record entered into the CAMIS system.

Oracle Discoverer Report Viewer:
- Direct Export Data to Excel Format from the Oracle
Discoverer 4i Viewer; users need to have Microsoft

report data to Text Format (xxxx.txt) first, then
import into the Excel application.

CAMIS Tool Control Module
DCAM is pleased to announce the new CAMIS module/function, “Tool Control”, that is installed, configured, tested and available for all CAMIS User Agencies. This added function addressed the needs that several CAMIS users conveyed to us in their implementation of CAMIS.
The Tool Control module is a comprehensive system for managing the tools facilities staff use for maintenance and production. Tool Control is part of the CAMIS program and works seamlessly with other modules. The system controls and tracks the entire process of lending, returning, receiving, transferring and adjusting tools. More details on this module from FAMIS, the vendor of the CAMIS program, Tool Control is attached here. Please contact the CAMIS Help Desk at CamisHelpdesk.DCAM@State.MA.US if you are interested in seeing a demonstration or if you would like assistance in implementing the Tool Control module.
