Contractor Certification: Listing
of Certified Contractors and Forms and Information
Contractors wishing to submit prime bids
on public building projects estimated to cost more than
one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for the construction,
reconstruction, installation, demolition, maintenance,
or repair of any publicly owned building must first
be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management
. Certification is not required for filed sub-bids until
December 31, 2005. The certification process is conducted
by DCAM Contractor Certification Office,
which can be reached at (617) 727-9320. Contained in
the section below is a listing of certified contractors
by category of work, as well as the forms and information
necessary for contractors to proceed with the certification
process.

New Public Construction Reform Law
Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004,
entitled "An Act Further Regulating Public Construction
In the Commonwealth" was signed into law on July
19, 2004. Chapter 193 changed public construction statutes,
thresholds, and procedures to be followed for public
construction projects. One portion of the law requires
DCAM certification requirements for filed sub-bidders
and prequalification requirements for filed sub-bidders
on certain public building projects. DCAM has information
