Disparity Study of the Massachusetts Construction Contracting and Design Services Industries

The Division of Capital Asset Management in a joint undertaking with the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency (“MassHousing") retained NERA, a nationally recognized firm, to conduct a new disparity study to look at the participation of minority-owned and women-owned business enterprises in the Massachusetts construction and design industries. The study is ongoing and its results will be utilized to inform DCAM's Affirmative Market Program (MBE/WBE Program) going forward. DCAM anticipates that the study will be concluded in the first half of 2007. Information about the findings of the study will be made available when the study is completed.
