PHASE II EXPANSION AT THE MASSACHUSETTS FIREFIGHTING ACADEMY
Phase II expansion of the Firefighting Academy in Stow, now in design, includes a new administration building, training fire station, warehouse,connecting link building, and renovation/expansion of the an existing academy building. The project is a phased construction project involving demolition of existing buildings and the construction of new structures. Features include:
- LEED certified at gold level.
- Will house approximately 175 personnel, most of whom are already on site, by replacing a number of temporary trailers and modular buildings with proper facilities.
- Will use less energy than the present building, in spite of being 150% larger.
- Will use less water for domestic purposes than is presently used, thanks to water saving fixtures and use of graywater for non-potable purposes.
- Approximately 7% energy derived from solar energy.

FRANKLIN COUNTY JAIL AND HOUSE OF CORRECTION REPLACEMENT
Construction of a new 144-cell jail was recently completed for the Franklin County Sheriff's Department in Greenfield, MA. It is a single-structure building that includes all support facilities. Construction consisted of pre-cast concrete, pre-engineered steel and a metal pre-engineered building. Features include:
- Modular cell units with prefabricated concrete panels
- Public Safety enhancement for inmates and sheriff's office personnel
- Air quality and lighting improvements to provide a healthier environment for inmates and staff
- Related site work, utilities, tie-ins, and on-site access.

HAMPDEN COUNTY WOMEN`S CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
Construction is now complete on the new modular two-story jail and house of correction for women in Chicopee (bordering the city of Springfield). Features include:
- Combination of pre-cast concrete modular and conventional steel frame/masonry construction
- Prefabrication and on-site assembly/erection
- Extensive site work and site utility installation

NEW FIELD MAINTENANCE SHOP IN READING - NATIONAL GUARD
Construction is substantially complete for a field maintenance shop for the Massachusetts Army National Guard in Reading. Features inlcude:
- Steel framed structure with CMU and insulated metal wall panels with a standing seam metal roof
- 14 vehicle maintenance bays, one DS maintenance bay, training and personnel areas.
- 3,840 sq. ft. cold storage building
- Site improvements include vehicle parking, wash platforms, fuel storage, lube and inspection rack, loading ramp, controlled waste handling facility, sidewalks, outside lighting, new acess road and new utility corridor.

NEW STATE POLICE STATION AT DARTMOUTH
This recently completed State Police station serves officers, Special State Police units and civilian staff Features inlcude:
- Single story slab building with exterior masonry walls, interior partitions of masonry and gypsum board, and a pitched steel frame roof with shingles
- New "State of the Art" detention facilities
- Exercise/Fitness area for troopers
- Vehicle wash bay.

NEW STATE POLICE STATION AT MILLBURY
This recently completed State Police station replaces an antiquated station that was poorly located relative to its troop patrol area. The new facility is on a 1.7 acre site at the foot of the Greenwood Street Bridge over the Massachusetts Turnpike. Features include:
- State of the art detention area
- Fitness/Exercise area for troopers
- Vehicle wash bay.
