BUNKER HILL COMMUNITY COLLEGE - HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER
This project, now in design, consists of a new 49,000 GSF two-story Health and Wellness Center with utilities and an elevator connected to Building E. Bunker Hill Community College was originally proposed to be built in two phases to accommodate a total of 5,000 full-time students and 6,000 part-time students. Phase I was completed in 1973 with a total of 370,000 gross square feet for 2,500 full-time students. Currently, over fifty percent more than the original capacity are enrolled at BHCC, with a similar trend in the enrollment of part-time students. A student center and athletic facility were not built as part of the first phase, and pedagogical changes have increased the need for student support services that were not required at the time of the earlier construction. WESTFIELD STATE COLLEGE - ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENTS, LIBRARY & CAMPUS CENTER
A study for emergency egress and accessibility improvements for Ely Library and Campus Center is currently under way. Improvements under analysis include:
- Construction of four (4) floor entrance with accessible elevator
- Relocation of the campus store
- Improved access to all program areas
- Accessible restrooms
- Improved health and safety standards;
- Additional student gathering spaces.

WORCESTER STATE COLLEGE - ADMINISTRATION BUILDING RENOVATIONS
This project now in design consists of replacement of all major building systems, repairs to the building envelope, and reconfiguration of the building to accommodate administrative offices. Features include:
- Replacement of all major building systems including new boiler installations in adjacent Sullivan Building to feed both of the buildings
- Theater renovation to improve functionality and accessibility
- A new entrance and lobby area at the back of the building to reorient the building’s main entrance toward the center of campus
- LEED silver is the expected level of sustainability

U. MASS AMHERST - WEB DUBOIS LIBRARY IMPROVEMENTS
Two projects are under way at the DuBois Library at U Mass Amherst. Phase I, currently under construction, includes improvements to the main plaza concrete deck, waterproof membrane system and site. Phase II, now in design, consists of upgrades and replacements to the HVAC system and accessibility. nearly complete and Phase II is in design phase.
- Replacement of main plaza concrete deck and waterproof membrane system
- Site improvements
- Replacement and upgrade of entire HVAC system
- Additional permanent access direct to lower level will be accomplished in this project.

CAPE COD COMMUNITY COLLEGE - "GREEN" APPLIED TECHNOLOGY CENTER
In 2006, DCAM completed construction on its first LEED-certified "green" building at Cape Cod Community College to house the college's information technology department. The Lyndon Lorusso Applied Technology Center is a three-story, state-of-the-art teaching and learning facility located within the ring-road that encircles the campus. Building space includes six computer lab classrooms, one open lab, a GIS lab, nine offices, two meeting rooms and the administrative IT department. Its acheivement in green technology was instrumental in the college's securing the prestigious Bellwether Award in the category of "Planning, Governance and Finance" in 2006. It was funded in partnership with the college and the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC). |

FRAMINGHAM STATE COLLEGE - DWIGHT HALL RENOVATION
This recently completed construction project was a renovation of a building that houses administrative offices, classrooms, an auditorium and a gymnasium. It included major renovations in the auditorium and business offices, accessibility for the entire building, selective demolition of the finishes, and new heating and electrical systems. Features include:
- Full accessibility
- State-of-the-art auditorium/theatre
- New heating and electrical systems

HOLYOKE COMMUNITY COLLEGE - NEW ACADEMIC BUILDING
This recently completed Business and Technology Center features the following:
- New five-story, 55,000 sq. ft. brick and glass building
- 9 classrooms for workforce training
- 4,000 sq. ft. of conference and seminar space
- 10 computer labs and classrooms with "smart" technology
- Environmentally friendly "green" roof

MASS. COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS - RENOVATIONS TO MURDOCK HALL
The complete interior and partial exterior renovation of Murdock Hall has recently been completed at the Mass College of Liberal Arts in North Adams. Built in 1894 to house a state teachers college, Murdock Hall is the original structure on the college’s campus and holds a prominent place in the areas history. Project includes:
- Mix of new department and faculty offices, classrooms, computer labs, conference rooms, and larger meeting spaces
- Repairs, upgrade/ replacement of mechanical, electrical and life safety systems
- Barrier free access

U. MASS BOSTON - FIRE PROTECTION FOR SCIENCE & WHEATLEY BUILDINGS
A project to provide fire protection improvements to the Science and Wheatley Buildings has recently been completed at UMass Boston. This work is responsive to an abatement order by the BFD contending the building is not in compliance with fire prevention law. Features include:
- New sprinkler, electrical system, and fire alarm work
- Fire protection upgrades to Data Center
- Improvements to Dean's Office with concealed sprinkler system.
