Construction is substantially complete for a field maintenance shop for the Massachusetts Army National Guard in Reading. The maintenance shop replaces an overcrowded and unsafe shop at the Haverhill Street Armory in Reading. Federally funded, this project contains a 61,600 sq. ft. shop with maintenance bays, training and personnel areas. Features include:

  • Steel framed structure with CMU and insulated metal wall panels with a standing seam metal roof.
  • 14 vehicle maintenance bays, one DS maintenance bay, training and personnel areas.
  • 3,840 sq. ft. cold storage building
  • Site improvements include vehicle parking, wash platforms, fuel storage, lube and inspection rack, loading ramp, controlled waste handling facility, sidewalks, outside lighting, new acess road and new utility corridor.
