The new State Police station recently completed in Dartmouth replaces an antiquated station built in 1920. The project includes approximately 14,300 gross square feet to serve officers, Special State Police units and civilian staff, plus 2,300 net square feet of attic storage space. The site of the Project is located on a 2.5 acre parcel at the East side of Faunce Corner Road, just north of the I-195 interchange, opposite the entrance to a Mass Highway depot.
