The Massachusetts District Attorneys have unanimously endorsed a proposal pending before the MA legislature which would simplify license plates and facilitate easy license plate identification. The EZ-ID License Plate Program is a non-profit initiative committed to enhancing general issue license plates by including a basic symbol (a star, heart, diamond, circle, etc.) into each license plate. This simple visual makes it easier, even for very young children, to recognize, remember and report license plate registrations for numerous law enforcement purpose. Senator Bruce Tarr is the sponsor of the bill (SB 1798) for the adoption of EZ-ID in Massachusetts.
