Chiu Hsu Plea

          District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced today that Hsu F. Chiu (DOB:  03/03/1969) of Falmouth pled guilty to Trafficking Cocaine charges in connection with a lengthy multi-agency narcotics investigation.

            The six month long investigation began in August, 2011, when members of the Cape Cod Drug Task Force, Bourne and Falmouth Police Departments received information that Chiu was selling cocaine in the Falmouth area.  As a result of the investigation, the defendant was charged with four (4) counts of Trafficking Cocaine (28-100 gms) and three (3) counts of Distribution of Cocaine.

            The defendant was sentenced by Barnstable Superior Court Judge Robert Rufo to 7-9 years in State Prison followed by 5 years supervised probation.  Additionally, Chiu forfeited $148,784 in currency and a 2009 Toyota Tacoma pickup.
