Falmouth Bones Found

District Attorney Michael O'Keefe and Falmouth Chief of Police Anthony Riello announced today that Falmouth officers and State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney's Office responded to a wooded area in Falmouth as the result of a report of the discovery of what appeared to be human bones.

Investigators with the assistance of the Medical Examiner's Office and State Police Crime Scene Services are in the process of recovering the bones for transport to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for further analysis and identification.

The matter remains under active investigation by the Falmouth Police and Massachusetts State Police.
