Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe, Harwich Police Chief William Mason and Oak Bluffs Police Chief Eric Blake announced today that as a result of Operation Corral, a state-wide multi-agency cooperative effort of the Massachusetts Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force the following persons from the Cape & Islands District were arrested and charged as follows:
Dustin Hastings, DOB: 9/15/1977, 15 Lake Street, South Harwich MA has been charged with Distribution of Child Pornography (MGL c272 Â§ 29B) and Possession of Child Pornography (MGL c272 Â§ 29C) Mr. Hastings was arraigned in the Orleans District Court on April 3, 2012 where $5,00.00 cash bail was imposed. A probable cause hearing was set for May 4, 2012.
Josemar Boldrini, DOB: 6/29/1969, 23 Worcester Avenue, Oak Bluffs, MA has been charged with Distribution of Child Pornography (MGL c272 Â§ 29B) and Possession of Child Pornography (MGL c272 Â§ 29C). Mr. Boldrini was arraigned in the Edgartown District Court on April 6, 2012. A bail hearing was held on April 9, 2012 where $200,000.00 cash bail was imposed. An Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer was also lodged against Mr Boldrini. A pre-trial conference was set for April 13, 2012.
Operation Corral was a state-wide internet shareware interdiction effort where the defendants are alleged to have offered images on their computers for distribution, and did distribute images. The Massachusetts Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force consists of members of federal, state, local, and county agencies. Search warrants were executed at the above addresses by members of the State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Cape & Islands District Attorney's Office and members of the Harwich and Oak Bluffs Police Departments, respectively.
