Quoizel L. Wilson Indicted for the 2010 Murder of Trudie Hall
District Attorney Michael O'Keefe announced today that on Tuesday November 12, 2013 a Barnstable County Grand Jury returned indictments for the 2010 Murder of Trudie Hall (DOB 01/15/1987).
Trudie Hall was reported missing by her mother on July 28, 2010 to the Yarmouth Police. On Thursday, July 29, 2010, Barnstable Police located the car Ms. Hall rented when she came over to the mainland from Nantucket.
On April 19, 2012 skeletal remains were found in the town of Falmouth. On April 23, 2012 the Medical Examiner’s identified the remains as Trudie Hall. Ms. Hall was 23 years old and pregnant at the time of her death.
In the months that followed, the investigation involved the Medical Examiner’s office, forensic chemists and ballisticians from the State Police and the State Police Crime Lab, evidence technicians from the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Department and police from throughout the mid and upper Cape, as well as the State Police detective unit assigned to the District Attorney’s office.
Quoizel L. Wilson (DOB 5/30/1978) of Boston, MA was indicted for Murder, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Unlawful Disposal of a Body in connection with the death.
Wilson was arrested by State Police Detectives on November 12, 2013 in Chelsea, MA and is being held without bail pending his arraignment in Barnstable Superior Court.
The case remains under investigation.
District Attorney O'Keefe said, "This has been a long and thorough investigation and it continues. I hope this step brings a small measure of peace to Trudie's family".
