Steven M. Webster Indictment
District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced that yesterday a Barnstable County Grand Jury returned an indictment against a fourth man in connection with the murder of Andrew Stanley of Hyannis in July, 2012. Steven M. Webster, (dob: 12/21/1984) of 98 Devon Street, Dorchester, MA was indicted in Barnstable Superior Court with the following charges: Murder in the First Degree; Home Invasion; Armed Assault in a Dwelling; Armed Robbery and Carrying a Firearm without a License.
On July 11, 2012, at approximately 1:20 pm, Barnstable Police responded to a report of a shooting at 30 Otis Road, Hyannis. As they arrived, multiple gunshots were heard. Barnstable Police observed two males exiting the house and a third male running from the house. After a pursuit, all three subjects were apprehended by Barnstable Police Detectives and Patrol Units. Guns and money were recovered in the vicinity of the suspects. Upon entry into the house, another male identified as Andrew Stanley of Hyannis (dob: 12/21/1984) was found shot to death.
David Evans (dob: 10/1/85) of 10 Highpoint Circle, Quincy; Eddie A. Mack, Jr. (dob: 9/8/1985) of 75 Lenox Street, Roxbury; and Keiko Thomas (dob: 10/30/1991) of 390 Bearse’s Way, Hyannis have all previously been indicted in Barnstable Superior Court and are awaiting trial.
The case remains under investigation by the Barnstable Police Department and the State Police Detective Unit attached to the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office. The cases will be prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney, Michael A. Trudeau.
