Adam W. Finnegan conviction

            District Attorney Michael O'Keefe announced today that Adam W. Finnegan, DOB: 8/10/1983 of 36 Blueberry Pond, Brewster, was convicted by a Barnstable County Superior Court Jury of Burning or Aiding in the Burning of a Meeting House; and Injury to a Church, Synagogue Over $5,000.00.  Mr. Finnegan was found guilty after a three day trial. Superior Court Judge Christopher J. Muse ordered that an aid in sentencing evaluation be conducted by the Probation Department.  Sentencing has been scheduled for March 24, 2014.  Mr. Finnegan was convicted of the November 30, 2012 Arson of the Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church in Brewster.

            The case was investigation cooperatively by the Brewster Police, the State Fire Marshalls’ Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.  The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Bright.
