Incident at The Golden Swan Restaurant in Falmouth, MA

           Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe and Falmouth Police Chief Edward Dunne announced today that at approximately 9:00PM on Thursday September 4, 2014, Falmouth Police received a call to respond to the area of 13 Shore Street, Falmouth for an injured party.

           Police responded and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 60 year old male, who was an Indian national.

           After working through the night, Falmouth Police and State Police Detectives assigned to the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office have arrested:

                Salwinder Singh, D.O.B: 9/15/1953 and

                Karamjit Singh, D.O.B: 2/06/1990

      on a charge of intentionally misleading a police investigation MGL c268§13B, a 10 year felony. They were living at 323 Main Street, Apt. 1, Falmouth.

            The two individuals are being held without bail for Arraignment in the Falmouth District Court on Monday September 8, 2014.

            The deceased and the two men under arrest were all affiliated with The Golden Swan Restaurant at 13 Shore Street in Falmouth.

            An autopsy has been conducted in Boston at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The victim died from blood loss associated with a cutting wound caused by sharp force trauma. The case remains under investigation by Falmouth Police and State Police Detectives assigned to the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office.
