The Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit is comprised of a group of highly dedicated professionals responsible for the investigation of major crimes and special investigations within the Cape and Islands jurisdiction. The Unit also provides investigative support for the District Attorney’s Office and other law enforcement agencies.
The Unit is comprised of investigators with special expertise in areas such as homicide and death scene investigation, computer crimes, and narcotics investigation .
The Unit oversees the Cape Cod Drug Task Force, a regional narcotics enforcement group which includes local, state and federal officers.
