The Friends of GLBT Youth, Inc. ("The Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating homophobia and transphobia in order to allow all young gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people the opportunity to reach their full potential. It is not affiliated with the Commission on GLBT Youth, but has supported the Commission's work in various ways over the years.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth. We will begin accepting new members in Fall 2015.
The Commission is seeking two interns for the spring and summer: a Commission Intern to assist with community outreach, events, and policy, and a Geomapping Intern to collect data on LGBTQ youth service providers across the state. Each provides an opportunity for an intern to develop skills in an area of interest and make connections with community organizations, research institutions,and state policymakers.
