2010 Award Nominees Share Information about their Care Transition Work
In addition to the 2010 award winner,
MetroWest Medical Center
, the Betsy Lehman Center for Patient Safety and Medical Error Reduction (BLC) received many excellent nomination submissions for the 2010 Betsy Lehman Patient Safety Recognition Award. The theme of the award highlighted the importance of improving patient care transitions across the healthcare continuum. The BLC Award Review Committee (comprised of six members who evaluated the nominations) determined that the care transition work that was described by award applicants should be recognized by asking each to contribute a brief summary of their work and achievements for the BLC website.
