Ambulance and Chair Car Information

governs the rates used by the Commonwealth's governmental and Workers Compensation payers when purchasing covered ambulance and chair car services. This regulation also specifies that providers shall file cost and other information to the Division on an annual basis. A blank cost report has been posted on our website for providers to review. The information here contains the specific filing requirements and contact information.

Beginning in September 2006, the Division deployed a web application for collecting Ambulance Cost Reports. The web application replaced the Excel based template that was used to report in previous years. Filers will connect to the new web application through the Division's "INET" web site at: https://dhcfpinet.hcf.state.ma.us/.

The completed cost reports, including all required attachments, are due at the Division by November 1, 2007, for your organization's fiscal year 2006 information. Please note that agencies that fail to file the required data with the Division in a timely manner may be subject to penalties in accordance with 114.3 CMR 27.00 and MGL 118G.
