BOSTON, MA (September 18, 2002) -- The Public Hearing on the Formal Charges against Superior Court Judge Maria I.

Lopez will begin on Monday, November 18, 2002 at 9:00 AM. The Hearing will take place in Courtroom 9 on the fourth floor

of the Edward W. Brooke Courthouse, 24 New Chardon Street, in Boston. The Hearing will be presided over by the Hearing

Officer appointed by the Supreme Judicial Court, retired Chief Justice of the Housing Court Department, E. George Daher.
