Report
With
the cooperation of Register of Probate Pamela Casey O'Brien,
plans were made for an information booth in the second floor
lobby of the Salem Probate Court, staffed by community volunteers.
Several meetings were held with Register O'Brien, materials
purchased for the Information Booth, and materials copied
for the training manuals. Although progress has been slower
than anticipated due to computer and scheduling problems,
advertisements have been arranged in area newspapers and training
manuals are being completed. Training of the volunteers will
be held in the fall, 2001 and members of the Probate Court
will conduct the training.
