Access to Justice Interim Report Issued
Supreme Judicial Court Chief Justice Margaret H. Marshall and Chief Justice for Administration & Management Robert A. Mulligan have released the Interim Report on Access to Justice Initiatives in the Trial Court prepared by Housing Court First Justice Dina Fein, Special Advisor for Access to Justice, and SJC Senior Staff Attorney Sandy Lundy, Deputy Advisor for Access to Justice.
The report reviews the work done since the initiative was announced in June 2009, and summarizes the results of the Access to Justice survey of Trial Court employees conducted last fall. It also identifies priority projects and an organizational structure for undertaking those projects.
“Many individuals across the system have volunteered to help with this initiative,” said Judge Fein. “We are very gratified by the deep reservoir of talented people across the Trial Court who are committed to enhancing access to justice and we look forward to working with them as we move forward.”
