It is the policy of the Massachusetts Courts to provide limited online access to case information and records maintained by the courts ("court dockets") that are deemed to be public information. "This policy attempts to balance our dual interests in making information about the courts available and accessible, and in protecting personal and sensitive information from indiscriminate disclosure." Policy Statement by the Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court Concerning Publication of Court Case Information on the Web, May, 2003.
To the extent allowed under this policy, and as online access to the courts' dockets improves through advanced technology, you will be able to search for information related to a particular case, including checking the status of a case and viewing descriptive docket entries of papers filed and orders issued in that case.
