We are pleased to share the Massachusetts Court System’s Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2008, which we sent this week to Governor Patrick, Senate President Murray and House Speaker DeLeo. This report provides our external stakeholders a condensed summary of our major achievements. The report highlights many important initiatives underway and underscores the dedication of judges, clerks, probation and all court staff across the Judicial Branch.
The case statistics reflect the tremendous volume of activity occurring in our courthouses every day and the thousands of citizens impacted by the efforts of court employees. The range and quality of initiatives cited reflects a system-wide commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
We are proud of the many accomplishments of our Judicial Branch colleagues and greatly appreciate your efforts. In the midst of unprecedented fiscal challenges, we recognize that the continued commitment and dedication of all who work in our courts are the essential factors in our ability to maintain our core function to deliver justice.
