Office of CJAM Moves to Adams Courthouse
The office of Chief Justice for Administration & Management Robert Mulligan will relocate from Center Plaza to the first-floor mezzanine of the John Adams Courthouse Monday, December 6th.
The move further reduces the space leased at Center Plaza for the Administrative Office of the Trial Court. Since late 2008, consolidations and relocations have reduced the leased space there by 32 percent and the landlord has renegotiated the lease.
Departments of the Administrative Office of the Trial Court remaining at Center Plaza include Human Resources, Legal, Fiscal, TCIS, Support Services, and the Judicial Institute. The Administrative Office of the Juvenile Court and the Mass. Sentencing Commission also remain at Center Plaza.
Previously, the Administrative Offices of the District Court and the Probate and Family Court, as well as the Security and Court Capital Projects Departments relocated to court-owned space in Boston. In addition, the Office of Community Corrections relocated to Braintree and the Administrative Office of the Juvenile Court, the Judicial Institute and the Mass. Sentencing Commission were all part of a space consolidation at Center Plaza.
Telephone numbers for the CJAM, Chief of Staff Bob Panneton, and Executive Director Frank Carney will remain the same. Their new address is John Adams Courthouse, One Pemberton Square, Boston, MA 02108. Mail for the AOTC departments should continue to go to Center Plaza.
