Salem Probate & Family Court Renovation
36 Federal Street, Salem

The Salem Probate & Family Court Renovation consists of a complete gut rehab of the existing Federal Street building, the demolition of the 1979 addition on Bridge Street, and the construction of a much smaller addition more in keeping with the style and scale of the original building. The building's interior will be completely reprogrammed to meet current courthouse circulation standards.

Current Status ( 3-24-2014 ): The project has completed the Design Development Phase. Perry Dean Rogers Architects and their consultants (engineering, structural, mechanical and security) are conducting in-depth site visits to learn more about the existing conditions and to formulate preliminary recommendations for the new renovated structure.
